| Los Llanos de Aridane is the main town on the western side of the Island of La Palma, La Isla Bonita, in the Canary Islands. It is a lively and thriving town in a wonderful setting close to the beaches at Puerto Naos and Tazacorte and to the entrance to the Caldera de Taburiente. The town itself is a mixture of old world charm and the necessities of modern life. There are cobbled streets, a very old church, well restored Canary style buildings and ancient Laurisilver trees around the Plaza de Espana. It is seldom cold enough to need warm clothing and rarely gets too hot.
